The name derives from the Torre di Flumentorgiu, a seventeenth-century building built to defend the coast from Saracen pirate raids, today a symbol of the promontory.<br><br>Overlooking the Sea of Sardinia, the property is immersed in an uncontaminated landscape of rare beauty and is perfect for those who want a stay dedicated to relaxation and contact with nature.<br><br>The sea, clear and sometimes rough, is ideal for those who love swimming, snorkeling or surfing, with sandy seabeds that slope rapidly. The beach, about 2 km long, is perfect for sunbathing or walking at sunset, while the dunes, among the highest in Europe, offer breathtaking views of the coast and the hills of the hinterland.<br><br>Recommended activities include: excursions among the dunes, snorkeling along the rocky stretches of the coast, visits to Arbus and the historic mines of Montevecchio, as well as day trips to places such as Piscinas and Capo Pecora, ideal for exploring the most authentic and wild side of Sardinia.<br><br><br>To easily reach the house, and comfortably enjoy all the main attractions of the area, we recommend using a car.
