The perfect location for a low key relaxing week. Our family of four truly enjoyed our first time in this magical place. Our main goal was to relax and that we did. The villa was clean & ready for us on our arrival. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to find a quiet corner if needed. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we could need to fix a quick meal. We found a local market and were able to enjoy breakfast in the villa each day. The 3rd floor terrace is the star of the place & was where we spent the majority of our time, lounging and enjoying the view. There were plenty of shady spots along with a fridge and toilet. Donatella and Marco were excellent hosts and wonderful to work with, they helped us to arrange lovely excursions, reservations, and very helpful transportation. The villa is in a great location and is very comfortable, the terrace has astounding views and a beautiful dining area. You do have to be prepared to carry your meals up several flights of stairs! As with virtually all properties on the Amalfi coast there are a lot of stairs, but it works off your wine and pasta! Very helpful to have beverages stocked (for purchase) on arrival. We very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you Donatella and Marco for everything!

Our stay in Minori at Villa Dorotea was exceptional and our host went above and beyond in every way to ensure that we had the experience we wanted to have. A few days ahead of time, we had communication with Marco and the team ensuring that our transportation to the villa was smooth. Marco picked us right up from the ferry! This is a good idea as it's a challenging walk with luggage if you're doing that for the first time. As we did not have a planned itinerary; rather, just some ideas about what we might want to do. Marco is without a doubt the most gracious and attentive host we have ever had. He greeted us when we arrived, assisted with luggage. He helped us arrange transportation (Civitecchia cruise port and FCO airport transfers as well as local rides) which is critical as taxis and ubers are very difficult to get. The views from the rooftop terrace are amazing and worth every step. Marco arranged a pasta class at the property with a nationally known chef that was phenomenal. Marco saw to our every need and ensured that we were well taken care of.Be aware that the Amalfi coast can be challenging to get around and the onsite parking will only accommodate small vehicles. All the reviews were accurate, Marco went out of his way every step of the way to help make our stay even better than expected, from hiking and restaurant suggestion to setting up our boat rental and the cooking lessons. Cooking lessons may have been the highlight with Chef Nausica. We learned lots and enjoyed a special meal. We really could not have had a better experience. Minori was the perfect location for my wife and I. We were able to visit Positano but return to Minori that is far less touristy. Thank you Marco and team!

Beautiful villa and great location! We have traveled a lot and this was by far the nicest place we have stayed. The terraces are huge and provide an amazing view of the water and coast. We spent every evening in the hot tub at sunset. The three large bedrooms suited our family of four and provided everyone some personal space at the end of the day. We also took advantage of the walkout terrace on the two bedrooms overlooking the water. It was very warm and the air conditioning provided some nice relief.Normally we use the kitchen quite a bit when we travel but we dined at the great restaurants in town.
